Can you believe that we are closing out 2008?! It seems that before we realized it, the holidays were here & the year had melted away. As we enter 2009, many of us are thinking about New Year’s resolutions and how to make this next year even better than before. Some are making the famous diet resolution, others want to become more environmentally conscious, and still others want to commit to furthering their education. As we make resolutions and goals in life, we also do so in business. Now’s the time to look at the year ahead and figure out what you’d like to accomplish this next year & how you will do it. Part of the yearly plan for every business is factoring in how much time and money will be spent on advertising and marketing.
Here are some ideas to consider:
-It’s very important to remind your current and past customers that you are there and open for business. You might begin to accomplish this through an html mailer, a printed newsletter, or by sending out a custom made coupon that can be redeemed toward the services that you offer.
-It’s also valuable to get your name out there to new and prospective clients. This might be through a targeted mailer describing your new services or inviting people to an event.
-Or maybe you just want to spruce up your store front with some new signs, menus, or service listings.
There is a multitude of ways to rejuvenate the look of your business & connect to past and future clients. So start the year off with a bang & show people that you are the professional, quality business to see in 2009!
